Nicolas Fagel

Nicolas Fagel is a Belgian saxophonist and clarinettist. He is graduating from the Royal Conservatory of Ghent this year. Despite his young age he has considerable teaching experience including piano, saxophone, clarinet and music theory. He is also musical director of two Belgian concertbands and continues to perform regularly.

His interest in cross-cultural projects brought him to arcFAM Association where he joined first as a guest musician then as a group leader in the multilingual musicweek project. He is motivated to work for Association where he can use his knowledge of many languages and musical cultures.

He enjoys teaching because it allows him to see the musical skills of his students develop. It is a great pleasure for him to follow their work and progress. He believes that having a good connection with the students is important as it helps him to have a better understanding of their artistic inspirations thus can better tutor them on how to express those.

The best part of his day? When his students ask interesting questions and come well prepared to class. :-)
