Mikkamakka, our drama group
 for girls and boys
now accepting kids from 6 to 14 years of age

Mikkamakka, our drama group for children started in 2013. Children participating in the group learn to express their everyday joy and sorrow via theatrical exercises and games. Improvisation, roleplaying, stage games, acting exercises, movement exercises, self-expression games form an intergral part of the classes. The sessions are conducted in Hungarian and the semesters finish with a closing show performed for friends and family.

In 2014 our drama group also put on a stage improvisation based on the tales Four-square Round Forest by Ervin Lázár, in 2015 they performed in the play Varázsgömb, based on their own ideas. In 2017 and in 2018 they took part in the play Minden Egér Szereti a Sajtot based on the tale of Gyula Urbán.

We have 4 different courses, each taylored to a specific age group.

Szövegelők is our new literary group for 13-15 year olds. We shall look at literary works and play with them using drama techniques. What makes a literary text good? What does it need to have to capture your attention? Love, vampires, wizards, war, characters of our own age, investigations, excitement? What kind of hero would you be? During the sessions we shall look at literary works proposed by the participants and we look for similarities with other literary works. We emphasize, transform, try our, perform, make decisions, read and think together.
