Csiribiri - Musicweek

Csiribiri
multilingual music camp
for kids of 3-8 ys of age
Since 2007 via the weekly programme of Csiribiri we introduce musical heritage to babies and small children using songs, games, dancing, folk tales accompanied by musical instruments.

This year we introduce the first multilingual holiday camp of Csiribiri. The aim of this multilingual musicweek is to familiarise children with live classical and folk music in a creative way. During the classes singing accompanied by musical instruments, rythmic exercises and games get centre stage. There will be 4 music classes each day, creative activities and games are organised during the rest of the day. Each day there will also be a guest musician who presents the "story" his/her instrument. Participants will discover how the instrument is played, what type of melodies it can best perform.

The activities will be are organised in 4 separate language groups (Dutch, English, French, Hungarian) of maximum 10 children. We welcome children of 3 to 8 years of age whose language skills are sufficient to follow the courses in their chosen language. At the end of each day a joint session is organised where participants will learn songs together in the different languages. A small concert will be given at the end of the week for the benefits of the parents.
